Job summary

Polycorp Ltd. in Elora, Ontario, is seeking a hands-on Material Handler to support production by loading, unloading and moving materials, ensuring the right materials are at the machines on time, and assisting with basic counts, weighing, sorting and packing as needed.

This role reports to Calender Mill Supervisors and requires a valid Lift Truck License; read schedules and commit to safety, quality and efficiency. Shift times are 4:45am-5pm Fri, Sat and Sun; 36.5 hours paid as 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid Lift Truck License.
• Ability to read schedules and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
• Ensure the correct material is at machines on time.
• Count, weigh, sort, pack and unpack materials as required.
• Work toward safety, quality, cost and delivery goals.
• Support production Calender area under supervision.

Material Handler

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for skilled Dual Ticket Maintenance professionals to join our Maintenance team.

In this hands-on role, you’ll help keep our facility and production equipment running safely and efficiently by performing corrective and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting continuous improvement across the plant.

Duties:

• Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
• Ensure the correct material is at machines on time.
• Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking.
• Work within the company’s goals and objectives of safety, quality, cost and delivery.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Valid Lift Truck License
• Ability to read schedules
