Job summary

Our client, a world-class manufacturer supplying over half of the North American automotive market, is currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join their growing team in Collingwood.

As a Material Handler / Production Assistant, you will play a key role on the production floor—keeping materials moving, supporting machine operators, and helping ensure smooth daily operations. Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Collingwood
Pay Range: $23.54 – $24.54 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supplying machine operators with materials using material handling equipment
• Removing full bins from workstations and replacing them with empty bins
• Assisting with general receiving and warehouse duties as needed
• Distributing product and materials throughout the facility
• This role is hands-on and essential to keeping production running safely and efficiently.

What’s Needed:

• Flexibility to work a weekly rotating shift (11:00pm–7:00am / 3:00pm–11:00pm / 7:00am–3:00pm)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with regular bending, reaching, and movement
• Enjoys staying active with a mix of walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting
• Comfortable working in a steady and sometimes fast-paced production environment
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
