Canusa Automotive Warehousing Inc. is seeking a Material Handler - Inventory Control for a 6-week temporary position in London, ON. The role focuses on inventory control, cycle counts, locating parts, and supporting picking, receiving, and stocking tasks.

The ideal candidate will be able to perform physically demanding work (lifting 10–50 pounds), work well in a team, and maintain accuracy in fast-paced conditions. Opportunity for extension may exist depending on business needs.

• Warehouse experience an asset (picking, receiving, shipping, maintenance).

• Experience and certifications on machinery an asset (Walkie, Order Picker, Reach, Counterbalance).
• RF Scanner experience an asset.
• Strong basic mathematical skills and understanding of units.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
• Help control inventory and ensure product availability.
• Support all warehouse duties (picking orders, receiving, shipping, stocking, organizing parts).
• Complete necessary paperwork (e.g. warranty forms) accurately.
• Load auto parts onto delivery vehicles safely.
• Follow health and safety awareness practices (ergonomics, hand hygiene).
• Sort items in alphanumeric order.
• Operate warehouse equipment when necessary to perform tasks.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Position Title: Material Handler - Inventory Control

Type of Employment: 6-week temporary contract, with potential for extension

Number of Vacancies: 1

Compensation : Starting at$18.00/hour based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (filled by volunteers or in reverse seniority order)
• *Occasional overtime work may be available/required depending on business needs
• This position may be required to transition to the afternoon shift (Monday to Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.) in the future, depending on business needs

Position Summary

The primary objective of this role is to support inventory control, including conducting cycle counts and physical inventory checks. They will also support all other areas of the warehouse operations, including picking and receiving incoming stock, scanning and stocking automotive parts, preparing skids, processing returns, and maintaining the overall appearance of the warehouse.
