Canusa Automotive Warehousing Inc. is seeking a Material Handler - Inventory Control to support cycle counts, physical inventory checks, and overall warehouse operations.

The role includes picking, receiving, scanning, stocking, and maintaining parts inventory with emphasis on accuracy and safety. The ideal candidate will have inventory/warehouse experience, basic math and computer skills, and a team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

Job description

Position Title: Material Handler - Inventory Control

Type of Employment: 12-month contract transitioning intofull-time permanent

Number of Vacancies:2

Compensation : Starting at$18.00/hour based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (filled by volunteers or in reverse seniority order)
• *Occasional overtime work may be available/required depending on business needs
• This position may be required to transition to the afternoon shift (Monday to Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.) in the future, depending on business needs

Position Summary

The primary objective of this role is to support inventory control, including conducting cycle counts and physical inventory checks. They will also support all other areas of the warehouse operations, including picking and receiving incoming stock, scanning and stocking automotive parts, preparing skids, processing returns, and maintaining the overall appearance of the warehouse.

• Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto delivery vehicles

• Efficiently sort items in alphanumeric order
• Other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team
• Operate warehouse equipment when necessary to perform tasks
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
