Job summary

Ryerson Canada is hiring a Material Handler at our Edmonton, AB branch. You will manage day-to-day staging, packing, and picking of material for shipments, using proper equipment and SAP documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of similar job experience.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience preferred.
• Basic math and measuring skills preferred.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using a computer.
• Physical ability to pass vision, hearing, and mobility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Picking and staging feedstock for fulfillment orders.
• Breaking down bulk bundles for customer-specific orders.
• Packaging of material to customer requirements.
• Operating a forklift or overhead crane to move material as needed.
• Proper completion of paperwork and SAP work order confirmation for shipping/receiving.
• Maximum productivity for finished goods creation.
• All other duties as assigned.

As a Material Handler at Ryerson, you will be responsible for day-to-day staging, packing, and picking material for shipments using proper equipment.

This position will work out of our Edmonton, AB branch located at 7945 Coronet Rd NW. This role will primarily work Monday through Friday from 3:30pm - 12:00am. Alternating shifts may be required depending on operational needs.
