Job summary

Ryerson Canada is seeking a Material Handler in Winnipeg to support daily staging, packing, and picking for shipments using standard equipment.

The role runs Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm and requires at least 1 year of related experience, forklift and overhead crane proficiency, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to pass a physical requirements exam.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of similar job experience.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must pass physical requirements exam (vision, hearing, mobility).

Responsibilities

• Picking and staging feedstock for fulfillment orders
• Breaking down bulk bundles for customer-specific orders
• Packaging of material to customer requirements
• Operating a sit-down or side loader forklift and overhead crane
• Proper completion of paperwork and SAP work order confirmation for shipping/receiving
• Maximum productivity for finished goods creation
• All other duties as assigned or requested
