Job summary

Mitsui High-tec (Canada), Inc. in Brantford, ON is seeking a Material Handler to join our manufacturing team. You will operate forklifts and overhead cranes, move parts to production areas, and maintain 5S in a clean, safe environment.This permanent, full-time role offers paid shift premiums and a comprehensive Total Rewards package, including medical/dental benefits and RRSP contributions. Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required, with 2+ years on the dock preferred.
• Overhead crane experience is preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of 5S and Kaizen is preferred but not mandatory.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Operate an overhead crane to load coil into a press.
• Offload and transfer parts.
• Move freight and stock to production areas using forklifts and cranes.
• Maintain 5S standards.
• Other duties, as required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate an overhead crane to load coil into a press
• Off loading and transferring parts
• Move freight & stock to production areas either manually or using equipment such as forklifts and cranes
• Maintain 5S
• Other duties, as required

Qualifications:

• Previous Forklift experience required (preferably 2+ years dockstocker/standup/reach)
• Overhead Crane experience preferred
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Knowledge and experience with 5S & Kaizen systems preferred but not mandatory
• Attention to detail in all areas of work
• Must be able to take direction comfortably, able to multi-task, managing time efficiently to obtain optimum results
• Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination required
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
