Job summary

Fleetway is seeking a Master Scheduler to join our PMO. This role can be based in any of our offices across Canada, reporting to the Manager, PMO.

You will develop, integrate, and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across ISS programs, providing visibility into performance, risks, and capacity to drive informed decisions at program and portfolio levels. You will collaborate with Project Managers and functional teams to establish scheduling standards, ensure data integrity, and deliver

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, reporting, coordination, or project controls.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with scheduling tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
  • Experience developing and maintaining integrated schedules across multiple projects or programs.
  • Strong understanding of schedule logic, dependencies, critical path analysis, and forecasting techniques.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in defence/marine/aerospace or complex technical programs is an asset.
  • PMP and/or PMI-SP certification is an asset.
  • Must be eligible to obtain Government of Canada security clearance.

Job description

Fleetway is seeking a Master Scheduler to join our Project Management Office (PMO). This role can be based in any of our offices across Canada.

Reporting to the Manager, PMO, the Master Scheduler is responsible for the development, integration, and maintenance of Fleetway's Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across the In-Service Support (ISS) portfolio. This role plays a critical part in providing visibility into project performance, dependencies, risks, and resource capacity, enabling informed decision-making at both the program and portfolio levels.

Working closely with Project Managers, Program Managers, and functional teams, the Master Scheduler will establish and maintain scheduling standards, ensure the integrity of schedule data, and provide insights that support successful project delivery across multiple programs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical and collaborative scheduling professional who enjoys bringing structure to complexity and influencing outcomes through data-driven planning.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Fleetway's Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across multiple programs and projects.
  • Partner with Project Managers and Program Managers to ensure schedules are accurate, integrated, and aligned with delivery priorities.

  • Generate schedule reports, metrics, and insights to support decision-making and portfolio governance.
  • Monitor schedule quality and data integrity to ensure reliable forecasting and reporting.
  • Support resource and capacity planning by identifying constraints, bottlenecks, and future staffing needs.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring on scheduling methodologies, tools, and PMO standards.
Qualifications

Education

  • Technical diploma or degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related discipline. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, reporting, coordination, or project controls within complex project environments.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining integrated schedules across multiple projects or programs.
  • Strong understanding of schedule logic, dependencies, critical path analysis, and forecasting techniques.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience supporting engineering, defence, marine, aerospace, shipbuilding, or other complex technical programs considered an asset.
  • PMP designation and/or PMI-SP certification considered an asset.
  • Must be eligible to obtain Government of Canada security clearance.
