MARKETING SPECIALIST

  • Salary: $35/hr or above

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

We're seeking a methodical and detail-oriented individual to join our marketing team fully on-site in Waterloo, ON. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Digital Marketing with a strong desire to be a part of our growing company. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns to increase lead generation.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  1. 3+ years' experience developing and implementing effective email marketing strategies for selected brands to include email.
  2. 3+ years' experience owning the creation and implementation of scalable marketing processes that ensure best practice in marketing automation.
  3. 3+ years' experience developing online content such as landing pages, brochures, website content, blogs, Facebook ads.
  4. 3+ years' experience working with Marketing Automation Tools such as Hubspot, or Pardot.
  5. Experience in owning the full life-cycle of a marketing campaign from idea to testing, executing, and optimizing.
  6. Proven experience with tracking key metrics and building custom reports using data analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Tag Manager, HubSpot, Linkedin Ads, HootSuite, etc.
  7. Knowledge of SEO, PPC, and paid social media advertisements.
  8. Ability to apply the fundamentals of user experience to develop targeted, engaging, on-brand digital marketing campaigns.
  9. Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven changes to improve campaign performance.
  10. Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  11. Identify the appropriate target market for each email campaign to ensure open rates, delivery rates, and click-through rates were above non-profit email marketing benchmarks.
  12. Conduct research on how best to use marketing campaigns and landing pages for tracking customers' attributes and journey paths.
  13. Review emails for content accuracy, correct grammar and spelling, and to ensure compliance with style guidelines.
  14. Suggest new ways to improve and innovate our marketing campaign efforts.
  15. Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  16. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  17. Strong organizational and project management skills.
  18. Strong multi-tasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
