If you have a background in administration and are looking for a creative, fast-paced role where no two days are quite the same, we'd love to hear from you!
The Root Cellar Marketing Team is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a busy role with plenty of variety. One day you might be in the office helping with campaigns and admin, and the next you could be in one of our stores delivering signage, setting up holiday décor or coordinating an in-store demo.

You'll be comfortable juggling priorities, working independently and supporting the team wherever needed. Most importantly, you'll bring a positive attitude and share our values of Integrity, Sustainability, Sunshine and Innovation.
The Root Cellar sprouted from a deep passion for fresh, local food and sustainable food systems.
What began as a small idea quickly took root in Victoria, where the community embraced and amplified that passion - helping The Root Cellar grow into what it is today. Across both markets, we proudly offer Vancouver Island’s widest selection of locally grown, organic, and conventional produce, alongside a full-service butcher and deli, artisanal groceries, dairy, fresh breads, and bulk foods.
At The Root Cellar, we're committed to supporting local farmers and makers, celebrating great food, and creating a welcoming place where quality, care, and community come together under one roof.
This is a part-time position (20-25 hours per week) working with an amazing team! We have a lot of opportunities for collaboration & continuous learning. You will also enjoy a 20% in store discount.
We look forward to meeting you!
