POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing, the Corporate Marketing Manager provides day-to-day leadership, administration and coordination for marketing activities across PURE Casino Entertainment's seven Alberta casino properties.
The position supports the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies encompassing advertising, promotions, special events, database marketing, social media, websites, creative services, player programs and communications. The Marketing Manager also supports marketing initiatives for the Company's iGaming platform and helps ensure alignment between PURE's land-based and online channels.
Working closely with corporate departments, property leadership and site-level teams, the Marketing Manager ensures marketing programs are delivered consistently, accurately, on schedule and in accordance with PURE's brand standards, regulatory requirements and business objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provides leadership and direction to members of the corporate marketing team – Marketing Coordinator, Content Creation Specialist, and Graphic Designer; including establishing priorities, coordinating workloads, monitoring deadlines and supporting employee development.
- Oversees the execution of marketing initiatives, including social media, creative, websites, database marketing, promotions, special events and player communications.
- Works closely with property leadership and site-level teams to communicate marketing programs and support consistent, successful execution.
- Supports marketing initiatives for the Company's iGaming platform and helps maintain alignment between online and land-based marketing activities.
- Ensures marketing materials and communications are accurate, consistent with PURE's brand standards and completed through the appropriate review and approval processes.
- Coordinates external agencies, media partners, suppliers and other marketing vendors, including production schedules, deliverables and purchasing requirements.
- Prepares marketing, database and campaign performance reports and recommends opportunities to improve guest engagement, participation and overall results.
- Works collaboratively with Operations, Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Compliance and other departments to support marketing initiatives and business objectives.
- Maintains awareness of market conditions, competitor activity and emerging marketing, entertainment and hospitality trends.
- Travels to PURE properties as required and provides support for occasional evening, weekend and holiday events.
- Maintains the confidentiality of privileged and commercially sensitive information.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of three years of progressive marketing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience coordinating employees, managing marketing workflows or leading complex projects is preferred.
- Casino, gaming, hospitality, entertainment or multi-location marketing experience is considered an asset.
- Experience with advertising, promotions, special events, digital marketing and database or CRM marketing is preferred.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret campaign, customer and financial information.
- Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment and a high degree of professionalism.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with common digital marketing, project-management and analytics platforms.
- Ability to travel regularly within Alberta and work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain any registration and/or security background clearance required for the position.
