Job summary

Future Electronics in Canada is seeking an entry-level Marketer to drive sales and profitability for a defined group of products. You will quote opportunities, provide resale guidance to the sales organization, and serve as a key interface with suppliers and customers to win business.

You will develop product and market knowledge, build relationships with internal and external teams, and contribute to pricing, inventory, and market strategies.

Qualifications

• University Education coupled with 2 years' of relevant work experience.
• Effective communication in English and working knowledge of French.
• Proficient in using MS Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook.

Job description

The Marketer is responsible for driving sales and profitability of a defined group of products and technologies. The Marketer quotes opportunities and provides resale guidance to the sales organization with the goal of winning business while maximizing profitability. This is a pivotal role in managing pricing, inventory mix and levels, and setting market resale prices and profiles. This position also serves as a key interface with manufacturers and suppliers as well as customers.

The Marketer works closely within their defined technology business unit and interfaces with asset managers (buyers) to ensure the development and maintenance of optimal inventory mix and levels, and also works with inside and outside sales organizations and engineers to win business and ensure future business is secured in the funnel.

This is an entry level opportunity which provides career progression possibilities such as Product Manager, Product Marketing Manager and Director of Product Marketing. This position also enables successful candidates to develop skills that can be leveraged to pursue a number of career opportunities within Future Electronics including a migration into sales and other departments.
