Stong’s Market is seeking a Market Team Member to help customers find items and provide information about products in the store. You will be the first point of contact and contribute to a clean, organized shopping environment.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, stocking shelves, processing payments, and maintaining displays, with a focus on high-quality customer service throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to the appropriate aisle or shelf to aid purchasing decisions.
• Keep the store clean, safe and ready for shoppers.
• Process payments by cash, credit card, gift card, and debit.
• Wrap and bag merchandise for customers.
• Balance and reconcile cash at end of shift.
• Stock and build grocery department displays.
• Rotate, load and unload department products.
• Keep shelves stocked with fresh products.
• Backroom and inventory management.
• Prepare hot and cold foods (sandwiches, chicken, salads, soups, trays).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job description

We are looking for a Market Team Member to join our storeand help customers find what they are looking for while shopping in the store. MarketTeam Members will act as the first point of contact at this store by providingshoppers with information about products offered in the store.

A Market Team Member’s responsibilities includemaintaining a clean work environment, organizing food displays, and stockingshelves with products for customers to buy. They will also deliver a high levelof customer service to shoppers.

Ultimately, you will work directly with customers andcomplete various tasks around the store to keep the shopping area clean andorganized throughout the day.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist customers to the appropriate aisle or shelve to assist with purchasing decisions
• Ensure the store isclean, safe and ready for shoppers
• Process cash register payments by cash, creditcard, gift card, and debit
• Wrap and place merchandise in bags / carts
• Balance and reconcile cash at end of work shift
• Maintaining andbuilding various grocery department displays
• Rotation, loading andunloading of grocery department product
• Stock and replaceproducts to avoid any damages
• Keep shelves fully stockedwith fresh products
• Backroom and inventorymanagement
• Hot and cold food preparation, includingsandwiches, chickens, salads, soups and specialty trays
• Performsother related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
