Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with seafood selection including, cutting, cleaning, and preparing seafood to customer specifications
• Package, weigh, and price customer orders
• Provide customers with information about different types of seafood, cooking methods, and preparation techniques
• Maintain display cases to health and safety standards with proper product rotation
• Ensure the store is clean, safe and ready for shoppers
• Rotation, loading and unloading of seafood department product
• Stock and replace products to avoid any damages
• Backroom and inventory management
• Assist the department with regular inventory count
• Assist with other departmental functions which include but are not limited to rotating, stocking, cleaning and maintaining the appearance and organization of the store
• Performs other related duties as assigned

This role is responsible for ensuring we always deliverthe highest standards of quality seafood for our customers. Our Seafood Clerksplay an important role in teaching customers about the various seafood options,how to prepare them, and the best cooking methods for optimal taste. Fulltraining is provided for this position.

• Able to work in the walk-in freezer and coolerfor extended periods of time
