A Bakery Clerk’s responsibilities include the day-to-dayoperations of the bakery, such as packaging baked goods, ensuring thatcustomers are well served in the bakery, while also helping the team withbaking and decorating tasks as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with the baked goods selection to assist with purchasing decisions
• Ensure the store isclean, safe and ready for shoppers
• Weigh,price, and package purchased items
• Maintaining andbuilding various bakery department displays
• Rotation, loading andunloading of bakery department product
• Stock and replaceproducts to avoid any damages
• Keep shelves fullystocked with fresh products
• Backroom and inventorymanagement
• Track ingredient expiry dates and arranging theiruse accordingly
• Clean the kitchen and prepare it for the next day
• Performsother related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
• Frequenthand coordination, bending pushing, pulling, and twisting
