Irving Shipbuilding seeks a Mechanical Engineering Student to gain hands-on experience supporting our Senior HVAC/Chilled Water Engineer on marine projects, including the Canadian Coast Guard AOPS and River Class Destroyer programs. You will assist with integrating combat equipment into platform design and contribute to technical documentation.

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year Engineering degree program.
• 0-2 years' experience.
• Experience with 3D model viewers is an asset.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, openness to learning.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage varied priorities.
• Interest in shipbuilding, defense, or marine industry.

• Support development of technical drawings under supervision of engineers.
• Assist with production issue solutions requiring engineering support.
• Meet with subcontractors to align and deliver quality data for ship design.
