Bridgemans Crew Management Ltd. seeks a Marine Baker to prepare bakery and pastry items for residents and crew aboard the MV Saga X, stationed near Squamish, BC. The role offers a marine environment with rotations and benefits including travel and lodging.

Qualifications

• Culinary diploma or related training preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Valid MED Domestic Vessel Safety certificate, Crowd and Crisis Management certificate, and marine medical certificate (employer will support arranging and subsidizing).

Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery and pastry items for residents and crew on a rotational schedule.
