Job summary

LandSea is hiring one Baker to join the MV Isabelle crew, providing scratch and prefabricated baked goods, desserts, and pastries. You will work under the Chef, maintaining high quality and quantity within a fast-paced bakery environment.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of hotel or cruise ship kitchen experience, be able to work long shifts, weekends, and holidays, and demonstrate strong English communication. Health and wellness benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Must hold a valid food safety certificate.
  • Minimum 2 professional references required.
  • Photo ID for virtual interview.
  • Must work safely and responsibly.
  • Excellent people skills and teamwork.
  • Good written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

  • Bakes and prepares a variety of pastries and desserts according to recipes.
  • Produces daily desserts and grab-and-go items.
  • Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
  • Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, and mixing.
  • Operate ovens, stoves, mixers and related equipment.
  • Maintain clean and sanitized work areas and equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and positive demeanor.
  • Follow LandSea policies and procedures and support teammates.
