Job summary

Bridgemans Services Group seeks a Third Cook to join our vessel-based team near Squamish, BC. This on-board role operates on a 28 days on/14 off rotation, providing meals and catering support for residents and crew while living on the floatel.

You will assist the First and Second Cooks, handle buffet prep, grill and plate dishes, and ensure high standards of hygiene and efficiency in a fast-paced marine galley environment.

Qualifications

• Culinary diploma or related work experience preferred.
• 1+ years experience in high-volume kitchen environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotational schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist First Cook with buffet planning and Grab & Go prep.
• Prepare vegetables, salads, and garnishes; assemble sandwiches and micro meals.
• Grill and fry dishes under supervision; maintain buffet line and dining area.
• Clean galley areas, store provisions, and ensure equipment is ready for use.
