We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and collaborativeprofessional to join our team. This position will lead national initiativesdesigned to strengthen the settlement sector's capacity to effectively respondto gender-based violence (GBV) experienced by newcomers and support the ongoingwork of the National GBV Strategy for Agencies Serving Immigrants.
Working closely with settlement organizations, anti-violence partners,and sector stakeholders across Canada, this position will support the expansionof a national GBV Champion Network, facilitate sector-wide learningopportunities including our Champion Network, Webinars and oversee the deliveryand sustainability of the Bridges to Safety: Building the Capacity of theSettlement Sector to Respond to Gender-Based Violence online trainingprogram. Outside of supporting current activities will also be leading updates around the current model and courseand finding more sustainable avenues for this work to continue its impact.
The successful candidate will contribute to strengthening coordinated,effective, and equitable settlement supports for newcomers, includingequity-deserving groups and Francophone minority communities.
