Job summary

Give and Go Foods is seeking a Production Planner in Vaughan, ON, to develop and adjust production plans ensuring timely material orders and on-time delivery. The role works with the Production Department to keep records up to date and drive efficiency across daily, weekly and monthly cycles.

The position emphasizes coordinating with managers, running ERP-based planning worksheets, and delivering routine efficiency and productivity reports to optimize resources and meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience planning production schedules to meet client orders.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for planning and data entry.
• Strong data entry and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Review client orders and prepare production plan (schedule) to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with Production Managers/Supervisors to optimize the production schedule.
• Manage and report on order deployment dates; monitor on-hold orders and releases.
• Enter data into the system and run the Planning Worksheet in the ERP.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly efficiency, yield, and productivity reports.

Job Overview

Responsible for the generation of a production plan to maintain the necessary inventory needs, formulating and adjusting where necessary in conjunction with the Production Department. The role will also be responsible to ensure that materials are ordered and delivered on time and that all manual and computerized records are kept up to date

Location: Vaughan, ON.
Shift: Day (7:00AM - 3:00PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Review client orders and prepare production Plan (schedule) to ensure all orders are filled to meet the clients’ requirements
  • Review both raw material (bulk & packaging) requirements, determine requirements, schedule production as per supply and communicate requirements to appropriate personnel
• Collaborate with Production Managers / Supervisors to ensure the Production Schedule enables the most effective use of company resources (man, material, equipment, etc.)
• Report scheduling, managing orders for deployment and manipulate spreadsheets
  • Need to be aware of orders on hold and when they are released and manage order dates
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly efficiency, yield, and productivity reports
  • Data Entry into system for delivery of product
  • Run the Planning Worksheet on a Microsoft ERP to run the planning process
