Job summary

Orica in Maple Ridge, BC is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate day-to-day production planning across multiple product lines. You will interface between Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, Inventory, and Purchasing to support fulfillment and execution.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of planning experience in manufacturing, ERP expertise (Epicor preferred), Lean background, and strong Excel/Power BI skills. Salary range CAD 70,000–79,000; on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in machining, mechanical assembly, or electronic assembly is an asset.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Epicor preferred) and MS Excel.
• Lean Manufacturing experience highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Execute production planning and control activities to ensure efficient manufacturing schedules.
• Coordinate production workflow and generate work orders based on demand, capacity and resources.
• Plan and prioritize schedules to maximize throughput and on-time delivery.
• Track orders and lead times to meet customer commitments.
• Identify constraints and propose recovery actions to keep schedules on track.
• Maintain ERP accuracy, planning records, and related transactions.
• Lead planning meetings with Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Inventory and Engineering.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and Lean manufacturing practices.
