Job summary

Volm Companies Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Administrator to ensure accurate production and inventory data within the ERP system and to support product quality and inventory control.

You will enter job hours and material usage, close work orders, perform cycle counts, and conduct routine quality checks on finished bags, while collaborating with production and planning teams to improve data integrity and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 2-year diploma/associate degree in Business Administration, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year ERP system experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Enter, verify, and maintain accurate production, labor, material usage, scrap, and job data in the ERP system; close jobs promptly to keep records current.
  • Investigate data discrepancies; escalate unresolved issues to supervisor or planning as appropriate.
  • Perform routine cycle counts and participate in physical inventories; reconcile inventory variances in ERP.
  • Conduct routine quality inspections of finished goods and report defects to quality team.
  • Enter customer orders, process shipments, and route completed jobs for invoicing via ERP.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate with production/planning to clarify data and support reporting needs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to data accuracy, inventory control, and quality processes.
