Superior Essex Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to support cost analysis, track production data, and manage accounts payable in a manufacturing setting. The role requires strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems to generate detailed cost reports and assist month-end close.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least two years of cost accounting experience, with a focus on inventory, standard costing, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of cost accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and lookups.
• Experience with production reporting and ERP systems is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Analyzes and monitors manufacturing costs, labor, materials, and overhead.
• Prepares and reviews production reports and variances.
• Supports month-end close activities related to inventory.
• Reconciles and processes vendor invoices, credits, and payments promptly.
• Maintains accurate inventory records and conducts periodic physical counts.
• Develops and maintains standard costing systems.
• Generates detailed reports using Excel and ERP systems.
• Provides cost analysis support to operations and management.
• Ensures compliance with accounting standards.
