Qualifications

This is a hybrid role with a mix of remote and in-office working.

What You’ll Do

This role involves leading a team of associates, overseeing client onboarding and servicing, supporting advisors, handling escalations, and ensuring a smooth client experience. You will also resolve high-priority issues, mentor staff, and contribute to process improvements.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Oversee escalations and client concerns, investigating root causes and providing solutions.
  • Improve performance and compliance processes.
  • Identify operational efficiencies to enhance productivity and client experience.
  • Ensure risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Assess team capabilities and support business growth.
  • Mentor staff and improve internal processes.
  • Manage business process manuals and collaborate with risk, audit, legal, and compliance teams.

Client and Advisor Support

  • Execute investment recommendations and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with custodians on operational matters.
  • Manage onboarding for new advisors and clients.
  • Deliver proactive, personalized client service.
  • Support business development initiatives with wealth advisors.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business, Finance, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant wealth management experience.
  • Registered as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH), and Wealth Management Essentials (WME).
  • CFP designation is an asset; LLQP or CLU is a plus.
  • Experience with Unifide, Broadridge/Dataphile, Portfolio Aid is advantageous.
