The Store Manager will provide and communicate the strategic direction and vision for the store. The Store Manager will manage all facets of store operations and ensure operational excellence in retail merchandising, inventory management, employee engagement, and customer relations. The Store Manager will coach and develop the store team to provide superior customer service and shopping experiences, achieved through the execution of strategy tailored for the local market in an engaging working environment, while meeting financial targets.

Responsibilities include:

1. People Leadership:

• Create a coaching and development culture for all store employees passionate about food.
• Oversee total store talent management including recruitment, succession planning, orientation, training, performance management, and compensation.
• Communicate operational requirements, changes, and store vision effectively.

Customer Offering:

• Understand and respond to local market needs and competition.
• Ensure excellent execution of retail programs and provide feedback.
• Model and reinforce customer service expectations daily.
• Engage with the community through events and partnerships.
• Create a shopping experience that enhances loyalty, sales, and profit.

Policy/Regulatory Adherence:

• Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OH&S, food safety, and other regulations.

Financial:

• Collaborate on local marketing initiatives.
• Ensure efficient operation to meet financial targets and KPIs.

Personal/Professional Development:

• Understand relevant company programs and attend training.
• Stay informed on industry trends.

Employee Engagement:

• Support an environment of employee engagement and be recognized as an employer of choice.

Other Duties:

• Order equipment, coordinate maintenance, and perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of retail operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of SAP.
• High School Diploma required.
• Three to five years of experience as a Department Manager or similar role.
