Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) is seeking a Manager of the Security Team to lead security operations across WRHA hospitals. You will oversee access control, security response to contingencies, and protective measures for patients, visitors and staff.

The WRHA Security Team is dedicated to providing a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, promoting security awareness within the healthcare facility. The manager ensures the protection of people and property, enforces hospital rules and policies, and maintains an acceptable level of order and safety.
Under the general direction of the Director, Facilities Support Services, the Manager of the WRHA Security Team supports overall security services operations, including access control, security response to contingencies and emergencies, and physical safeguards for designated WRHA hospitals. The role ensures day‑to‑day operational activities are carried out efficiently, maintains adequate security coverage, and analyzes security data, KPIs, and incident reviews to improve policies and procedures.
This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will bear any service charges incurred. Checks must be no more than six (6) months old.
