*Job description*Firehouse Subs is not your ordinary sub shop. We were founded by real firefighters, and our stores are full of hard-working, fun-loving people with a genuine drive for success. The Manager must manage all employees, and ensure all guests expectations are exceeded during their visit.You would be a "hands on working Manager" 70% of the time working the line making food/ serving guests 30% of the time Manager other duties* Inventory Management* To maintain daily prep routines (including par levels)* To put away and organize Food and Beverage orders* To work various shifts Monday through Sunday, including closing the restaurant up to 2 nights a week, and as needed* Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the restaurant* Prepare schedules and ensure restaurant is properly staffed* Responsible for controllable costs: Food and Labour* Measure and evaluate performance standards (KPI's)* Ensure operational and occupational health and safety standards are followed.* To maintain cleaning routines* Other duties as requiredQualifications and Skills* 2 year restaurant management experience, although 1-2 years supervisor role in a QSR type of environment would be an asset.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.* Strong analytical/decision-making skills.* Leadership skills ? able to direct, coach, and supervise a team* Customer service skills ? able to exceed guest expectations.* A positive and team-oriented attitude.* Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have a strong initiative.* You must be able to _perform efficiently during high volume peak periods._* Must be able to work flexible hours during, evening, weekends and holidays.* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.* Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.* Must be eligible to work in Canada.
