About The Role

Konrad Group is looking for a Manager of Payroll and Benefits to manage our global payroll, benefits administration, and employee service functions. The successful candidate will work out of our Peterborough Office.

What You’ll Do

1. Manage multi-state payroll, benefits administration, and employee services functions, and help oversee a small administration team.
2. Ensure compliance with global legislative payroll requirements.
3. Review and update global policies, procedures, and legal templates related to payroll, employment, and benefits under the guidance of senior management.
4. Ensure the accurate and timely completion of global payrolls, government remittances, and reporting.
5. Maintain a secure HR database and employee files.
6. Implement and maintain systems, workflows, and internal controls.
7. Provide high-quality service to internal users.

Qualifications

1. Certified Payroll Practitioner or working towards certification.
2. Experience processing US payroll across multiple states.
3. Experience in designing and administering health and other benefit plans in organizations with 50+ employees across multiple states.
4. Experience supervising a team.
5. Self-motivated, confident, and adaptable in a rapidly evolving environment.
6. Strong research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
7. Attention to detail and good judgment in decision-making.
8. Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with payroll and HR software, preferably ADP Workforce Now.
9. Flexible, adaptable, and willing to assist with hands-on tasks as needed.
