We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing within our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery, maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, and provide support to the human resources department. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and payroll systems, particularly UltiPro.

Duties

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  
• Perform general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
  
• Oversee corporate accounting functions including account reconciliation and journal entries.
  
• Ensure proper double entry bookkeeping practices are followed for payroll transactions.
  
• Collaborate with the human resources department to ensure accurate employee data management.
  
• Provide guidance and support to accounting clerks regarding payroll-related inquiries.
  
• Process accounts payable related to payroll expenses and ensure timely payments.
  
• Prepare reports on payroll metrics for management review and decision-making.
  
• Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices to ensure compliance.

• Experience working with human resources functions related to payroll processing is a plus.
