Reporting to the Head, HR Services & System Transformation, the Manager, Office Services is responsible for coordinating and running the efficient delivery of a variety of office and personnel services and infrastructure, as well as managing Teck's travel management and executive auto programs.

Responsibilities

  1. Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety, wellness, and environmental rules and procedures.
  2. Lead staff in Office & Library Services, including lease and sub-lease arrangements.
  3. Coordinate with senior management on office leases, relocations, and renovations.
  4. Support office redesign initiatives, including design, strategy, and implementation.
  5. Manage internal moves, ensuring compliance with standards.
  6. Oversee the $7M Travel program and update the Corporate Travel Policy.
  7. Negotiate contracts with airlines and car rental providers.
  8. Administer hotel RFP process for cost-effective bookings.
  9. Manage relationships with travel agencies and address employee travel concerns.
  10. Handle vehicle leases, allowances, and related policies.
  11. Manage parking benefits and taxable benefit calculations.
  12. Prepare and oversee the Office Services budget of over $9 million.
  13. Liaise with building management regarding maintenance, safety, and renovations.
  14. Administer tickets for Rogers Arena suites and catering.
  15. Ensure courteous and professional assistance from Office Services staff.
  16. Supervise intra-company mail delivery and office supplies procurement.
  17. Negotiate leases and conduct RFPs every 2-4 years.
  18. Manage the Corporate Credit Card program across multiple sites.
  19. Supervise office safety initiatives and emergency preparedness.
  20. Address safety concerns with building management.
  21. Handle special projects and requests from senior management.

Qualifications

  • Secondary education diploma; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Related certifications preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a corporate environment.
  • Experience leading teams and managing budgets.
  • Previous management and leadership experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range: $135,000 - $167,000, determined based on experience and skills.
