Job summary

Community Living Dryden-Sioux Lookout (CLD-SL) seeks a Manager of Services - Pathway to Independence to lead and supervise programs and staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery aligned with CLD-SL policies and safety standards.

The role reports to the Director of Services and requires extensive experience in disability services and a strong commitment to safety, equity, and community integration. On-site work in Dryden, Ontario with flexible governance and compliance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate degree or university credential aligned with CLD-SL policy.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is required.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must maintain current, valid certification in mandatory areas.

Responsibilities

• Manages, monitors, evaluates, and revises service delivery to ensure client and staff welfare.
• Ensures services comply with Ministry Acts, regulations, city by-laws, and agency strategic plan.
• Available for consultation outside regular hours to address emergencies.
• Trains, supervises, evaluates, and delegates responsibilities to staff within programs.
• Audits and ensures compliance with fire, municipal, and ministry standards.
• Coordinates, chairs, and participates in various meetings and committees.
• Sets goals and objectives for staff and ensures program compliance.
• Completes quarterly Health and Safety inspections and follows safety resolutions.
• Supports Joint Health and Safety Committees in safety investigations.
• On-call after hours and performs other duties as assigned.
