As the Manager of Network Planning and Strategy, you will be responsible for developing Porter's network, influencing hub strategies, and driving growth. You will use your analytical skills and industry knowledge to optimize our network, identify new opportunities, and maintain our competitive edge. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Strategic Network Development
  • Lead the development and execution of flight schedule strategies, including timings, growth phases, and hub structure optimization.
  • Present seasonal growth plans to senior leadership, supported by data-driven insights.
  • Develop and maintain long-term schedules aligned with financial and operational goals.
  • Profitability and Performance Analysis
  • Analyze route profitability, identify risks and opportunities to maximize revenue, and optimize resource use.
  • Contribute to budgeting with capacity and profitability insights.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Ensure data accuracy and seek new data sources to improve planning decisions.
  • Use analytics to identify network optimization opportunities.
  • Partnership and Collaboration
  • Work with the Partnerships team on codeshare, interline, and joint venture strategies.
  • Represent Porter in developing strategic network partnerships.
  • Communicate effectively with commercial stakeholders such as Revenue Management, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Communication and Reporting
  • Create clear presentations for stakeholders using PowerPoint.
  • Participate in Porter’s Safety Management System, reporting hazards and incidents, and promoting safety policies.

  • Safety awareness, teamwork, customer service, initiative, results focus, communication, integrity, leadership, and change management.
Qualifications
  • Experience in airline network planning or strategy.
  • Knowledge of the airline industry and the Canadian market.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with financial planning, Excel, airline scheduling software, and data analytics tools like SQL and Tableau is an asset.
  • Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or related fields is preferred.
