Job Overview

As the Manager, Human Resources, you will promote employee engagement and act as a liaison between employees and management to foster a positive employee relations atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
  1. Administer HR policies and programs to ensure compliance in staffing, recruitment, employee relations, training, benefits, compensation, and record keeping.
  2. Collaborate with plant operations and HR team to promote a positive open-door climate.
  3. Ensure employee and business strategies align to deliver excellent customer service.
  4. Handle all aspects of the HR department, including administration, legal compliance, policy enforcement, benefits, hiring, retention, and termination.
  5. Supervise HR staff.
  6. Keep senior management informed of HR developments that may impact effectiveness.
  7. Provide HR reports to upper management as needed.
Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/military experience.
  • 5 years of HR management experience.
  • Experience in employee relations, policy administration, recruiting, HRIS, and timekeeping systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Proven track record with increasing HR responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience resolving employee issues in an open-door environment.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to proactively create and maintain positive employee relations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.
