Strada is searching for a SAP HCM Functional Analyst for our Canadian Operations. The SAP HCM Functional Analyst is responsible for producing solution design and documentation for complex enterprise applications with expert attention to all architectural qualities for an effectively working payroll system. Time evaluation expertise is a plus.

The SAP HCM Functional Analyst must have extensive experience in SAP framework Canadian payroll module in standard and custom development with excellent functional and technical skills. They must be able to work with the business/Client to understand their needs and coach them on the appropriate solutions, while at the same time work with Technical Support Team to drive them to an efficient technical solution design.

They must utilize SAP framework to provide IT solutions and production support for Payroll and implement long-term, complex application systems based on SAP Programming and client-server technology.

They must be able to work in a support environment, with pre-defined SLAs and ticketing tools.

The applicant must demonstrate good time management skill to work both in a project and support role.

The position may be remote/hybrid) depending on work location.

Essential Skills/ Role And Responsibilities

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a functional analyst for SAP HCM.
  • Knowledge of customizing of Payroll (Specialty in Canadian payroll), Time management, Benefits, Finance Integration and all HCM related activities.
  • To Carry out support activities related to HR Payroll (Canada) including knowledge of tax calculations, Canadian legislation and year-end related activities
  • Ability to analyze and modify payroll schemas and rules
  • Translating stakeholder requirements into various documentation deliverables such as functional specifications use cases, workflow/process diagrams.
  • Analyzing business processes and systems, identifying inefficiencies and/or required functional enhancements, and documenting business processes and procedures.
  • Translating business needs into clear requirements that will enable the design of flexible solutions to enable business strategies and align with IT architecture direction.
  • Providing deep functional expertise of system capabilities.
  • Articulating functionality of systems to business and IT teams at various levels.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing.
