HR Systems & Operations

The Manager, HR Systems and Operations provides strategic and technical leadership and expertise in all facets of human resources in support of the CRD‘s business specifically, and the organization generally. Utilizing your human resources knowledge and technical expertise, you will be responsible for overseeing Human Resources business systems including our SAP/SuccessFactors HRIS, HR processes, benefits, pension and reporting requirements. With a strategic focus, you will lead a team of HR Advisors and the HRIS Specialist in advancing innovative business process and technical systems for the organization.The position has overall responsibility for HR systems implementation and ongoing maintenance and enhancement and will lead major HR system related projects.

As an ideal candidate you will have a demonstrated track record of success as a human resources professional within a progressive regional district, municipality or complex public-sector organization, and an excellent understanding of human resources processes and procedures, a broad knowledge of all aspects of human resources management systems and demonstrated experience working in the interface between them.Your technical knowledge would include an in-depth SAP/SuccessFactors HR subject matter functional expertise for day-to-day support and development including business process design, data transmission, testing and other troubleshooting support. You will be well-versed in affecting change to improve business operations and service delivery and will have experience providing insightful strategic input to short- and long-term planning.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a degree and 5 years human resources professional experience including experience in a leadership role. Professional designation related to the role is an asset.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Current salary for this position is $115,323 - $135,674 annually (quoted in 2024 rates), plus a comprehensive benefits package.
