Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
5+ years in collections, credit risk, or financial services with leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of collections strategies in regulated environments.
Proven ability to use analytics to improve performance.
Experience leading transformation, automation, or digital initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and analytics tools (SQL, SAS, Alteryx, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau).

Manage relationships with third‑party collections partners and vendors.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a strategic and analytical leader with experience in collections, credit risk, or financial services who can leverage data, technology, and customer insights to drive portfolio performance. You'll bring a strong understanding of collections strategies within a regulated environment, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to influence stakeholders while leading innovative solutions that enhance customer outcomes and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do

Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend strategies to improve recoveries and customer outcomes.
Use analytics and business insights to optimize collections strategies across the customer lifecycle.
Develop reporting, dashboards, forecasts, and business cases to support operational and executive decision-making.
Lead initiatives that modernize collections through automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and process optimization.
Partner with Credit Risk, Compliance, Legal, Technology, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
Evaluate and implement innovative collections tools, technologies, and digital solutions.

Manage relationships with third‑party collections partners and support vendor performance and strategy.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of progressive experience in collections, credit risk, portfolio management, financial services, or customer operations, including leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of collections strategies, consumer lending products, and regulatory requirements within a regulated environment.
Proven ability to use analytics and data‑driven insights to improve business performance and customer outcomes.
Experience leading transformation, process improvement, automation, or digital initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and analytics tools such as SQL, SAS, Alteryx, Databricks, Power BI, or Tableau.
Experience in banking, financial services, telecommunications, or managing third‑party collections agencies is considered an asset.
