Job summary

BDO Canada LLP in Calgary is seeking a Manager to join the Assurance team and take ownership of engagements, planning, supervision, and delivery for private and not-for-profit clients. Candidates should hold a professional designation (CA, CMA, CGA or CPA) and have at least 1 year of management experience in accounting/assurance, with ASPE/ASNPO knowledge.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of management experience in an accounting and/or assurance role.
  • Bilingual is an asset.
  • In depth experience in relation to ASPE or ASNPO files.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Act as a leader in the Firm, continually focused on employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Address client issues in a timely manner, following BDO Policy and using your strong technical skills and accounting experience
  • Apply appropriate industry/business knowledge in anticipating, identifying and addressing issues relevant to the client’s business

Our Calgary office is looking for a Managerto join the Assurance team and own the following responsibilities:

Your experience and education
  • Professional designation required (CA, CMA, CGA or CPA)
