Job summary

Your Opportunity

Our Waterloo office (and surrounding offices) is looking for a Manager to join the Assurance team and own the following responsibilities:

• Review assurance and non-assurance engagements for private, public and NPO organizations to ensure that relevant professional standards and Firm policies are followed
• Effectively plan, supervise and execute assurance engagements
• Develop a portfolio of new clients and business opportunities with existing clients opportunities on an on-going basis
• Address client issues in a timely manner, following BDO Policy and using your strong technical skills and accounting experience
• Apply appropriate industry/business knowledge in anticipating, identifying and addressing issues relevant to the client’s business

Your experience and education

You have completed your CPA designation. You have at least 4-5 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry. You enjoy working within a variety of client industries and are keen to develop further knowledge in this area. You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work. You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
