Job summary

Nova Scotia Health Authority invites applications for a Mammography Technologist at Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited School of Radiological Technology.
CAMRT certification and NSCMIRTP licensure required.
Commitment to ongoing education (CAR-MAP, CME credits).
Breast Imaging courses recommended; willingness to pursue.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.
Team-oriented with inter-professional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Deliver patient-centered care while operating mammography and/or ultrasound equipment.
Produce high-quality breast images for screening and diagnostic purposes.
Travel to the Nova Scotia Breast Screening Mobile Unit and Cape Breton Regional Hospital as needed.
