Alberta Health Services in Brooks is seeking a Maintenance Worker II to perform routine preventative and demand maintenance across the Brooks Health Centre, including exterior and interior components.
The role is casual/relief with shifts across days, evenings, and/or nights; it requires a Grade 10 or equivalent and a valid driver's licence, with a Power Engineer 5th Class Certificate required where boiler support is necessary.
As a Maintenance Worker II, you may perform routine preventative and demand maintenance activities within the exterior and interior of the building. Under general supervision, you may perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance and repair work on facility architectural, structural and mechanical systems/components to ensure safety and efficient operation of the building systems and equipment. You may perform a wide range of general maintenance duties including maintenance and repair of drywall, floors and painting. Additional duties may include minor plumbing repair; minor repairs on equipment; checks on equipment for pressure and temperature; and disassembly of equipment for cleaning.
Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent.Possession of a valid driver's licence.Power Engineer 5th Class Certificate required where boiler support is necessary.
