Alberta Health Services seeks a Maintenance Worker II in Didsbury to perform routine and on-demand maintenance of building structural, mechanical, and electrical systems. You will handle drywall, flooring, painting, and minor repairs, with some plumbing tasks and equipment disassembly for cleaning.
The role includes on-call weekend/evening shifts and requires safety-minded, independent work. The successful candidate will have Grade 12, a valid driver’s licence, and a Power Engineer 5th Class
As a Maintenance Worker II, you may perform routine preventative and demand maintenance activities within the exterior and interior of the building. Under general supervision, you may perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance and repair work on facility architectural, structural and mechanical systems/components to ensure safety and efficient operation of the building systems and equipment. You may perform a wide range of general maintenance duties including maintenance and repair of drywall, floors and painting. Additional duties may include minor plumbing repair; minor repairs on equipment; checks on equipment for pressure and temperature; and disassembly of equipment for cleaning.
