The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to work independently or in a team, and a willingness to be on 24-hour on-call. On-site shift with days, 7.75 hours daily, in-person work arrangement.

This position will report directly to the Capital Projects/Facility Manager and responsible for the routine maintenance and repairs of all Churchill RHA property and equipment. Recommend appropriate repairs or maintenance plan of action when tasks or assignments appear to be beyond local capacity. Log repairs, notes and reports potential or new repairs. Assists in preventative maintenance program.
This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.

The WRHA legal entity includes Churchill Health Centre, Deer Lodge Centre, Golden West Centennial Lodge, Grace Hospital, Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, Pan Am Clinic, Prairie Crocus Manor, River Park Gardens, Victoria General Hospital, WRHA corporate programs, and WRHA community health services.
