Job summary

Primaris REIT is seeking a Maintenance Worker at our New Sudbury Centre in Sudbury, ON. The role involves daily property inspections, minor repairs, and ensuring safety and curb appeal for tenants and customers.

You will collaborate with contractors, support in coordinating work, and deliver excellent service. A secondary diploma is required with 1 year of experience; HVAC knowledge is a plus. The position includes an hourly wage and a total compensation approach.

Qualifications

• Customer service focus with a can-do attitude.
• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent; college diploma an asset.
• 1 year experience in a similar field.
• Knowledge of a trade or HVAC is an asset.
• Ability to operate power tools & equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic PC skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification an asset.

Responsibilities

• Conducting minor property repairs and maintenance (dry walling, painting, landscaping, basic plumbing & electrical).

As a Maintenance Worker, your primary responsibility is to perform day to day maintenance and customer service duties required to keep the property safe and presentable for customers, staff and tenants by;

• Performing daily property inspections and promptly reporting repair needs
• Conducting minor property repairs and maintenance tasks including but not limited to dry walling, painting, landscaping, basic plumbing & electrical
• Ensuring property safety and respond to tenant concerns
• Maintaining property cleanliness and curb appeal
• Collaborating with contractors, providing excellent customer service, and assisting in coordinating work with stakeholders

Compensation:

At Primaris, we believe in rewarding talent with competitive wages and total compensation package. Your compensation is thoughtfully determined based on factors such as location, job level, relevant education or training, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, while ensuring internal equity and alignment with market data.

Expected Hourly Range:

CAD $19.00 – $23.00
