Job summary

Primaris REIT is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker to join our team at the New Sudbury Centre in Sudbury, ON. You will perform day-to-day maintenance and customer service tasks to keep the property safe and presentable for customers, staff and tenants.

Key duties include inspecting the property, reporting repairs, completing minor repairs (drywall, painting, landscaping, basic plumbing and electrical), and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent required; college diploma an asset.
• 1 year experience in a similar field.
• Knowledge of a trade or HVAC is an asset.
• Ability to operate power tools & equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic PC skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily property inspections and report repairs.
• Conduct minor repairs and maintenance (drywall, painting, landscaping, basic plumbing & electrical).
• Ensure property safety and respond to tenant concerns.
• Maintain property cleanliness and curb appeal.
• Collaborate with contractors and coordinate work with stakeholders.
