Job summary

Edon is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our building operations in the Acheson/Stony Plain area. This permanent, full-time role focuses on keeping buildings safe, functional, and well-maintained, with a practical, problem-solving mindset.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and a Grade 12 education. Carpentry, HVAC, plumbing knowledge are assets; mileage is reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of maintenance experience is preferred.
• Completed Grade 12 education is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract and access to a vehicle for site travel.
• 5th class power engineering ABSA ticket is an asset.
• Ownership of a sufficient set of tools for day-to-day maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks such as interior door repair, painting, drywall, and related duties.
• Use a range of hand and power tools; basic carpentry like painting and drywall repair is an asset.
• Support building operations and coordinate with contractors on site.
• Respond to service requests and emergencies related to client/building operations.
• Troubleshoot building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire alarm panels) and complete inspections and PM activities.
