Job summary

Broadstreet Properties Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Longwood Landing apartment building in Nanaimo, BC. You will diagnose and repair plumbing, heating and electrical issues, perform miscellaneous repairs, paint, patch drywall, and handle exterior maintenance.

This role supports delivering comfortable, safe homes for tenants while using your hands-on skills daily. Candidates should have 2+ years of upkeep experience, a relevant trade or certification, and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a related role.
• Completion of related trade, technical certification, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of hand tools and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic to intermediate plumbing, heating and electrical problems.
• Repair windows, blinds, doors, switches, plugs, appliances, fixtures and tile.
• Paint and patch drywall, mudding and taping.
• Maintain building exterior and basic grounds as required.
• Identify faulty operations and report deficiencies.
