We recognize that the right shift can make all the difference. For the right candidate, we are flexible and can offer continental day shifts, straight Monday‑to‑Friday day shifts or straight Monday‑to‑Friday afternoon shifts. No night shifts are required.

What We Offer
  • $37.00–$44.00/hour, based on licensing, skills and experience
  • $44.00/hour for certified 433A Industrial Millwrights
  • Flexible shift options, including:
    • 12‑hour continental day shifts
    • 8‑hour straight days, Monday through Friday
    • Straight afternoons, Monday through Friday
  • No night shifts required
  • Overtime opportunities
  • Company‑paid life insurance
  • Health and dental benefits
  • RRSP company match
  • Employee referral program
  • On‑the‑job training and continuous skills development
  • Company‑provided uniforms
  • Safety shoe allowance
  • Safety‑focused work environment
  • Collaborative, team‑oriented maintenance environment
What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical issues on plastics recycling machinery and plant equipment.
  • Maintain and repair shredders, grinders, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, drive systems and other industrial processing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems to minimize production downtime.
  • Perform preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  • Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes and implement effective repairs and long‑term solutions.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
  • Install, dismantle, align, adjust, rebuild and modify industrial equipment and mechanical components.
  • Perform mechanical fitting, fabrication, welding and equipment modifications where required and within individual qualifications.
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, rebuilds, overhauls and continuous improvement projects.
  • Inspect equipment for wear, damage and potential failures, including bearings, belts, chains, shafts and other mechanical components.
  • Work closely with Maintenance and Production teams to identify recurring equipment issues and improve overall equipment reliability.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs, inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the production floor and proactively identify safety, reliability and efficiency concerns.
  • Follow all plant safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Continue developing technical skills through training and hands‑on experience.
What We're Looking For
  • 433A Industrial Millwright certification strongly preferred.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multi-skilled maintenance team.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety, equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
  • Willing and able to work one of the available day or afternoon shift arrangements.
Working Environment & Physical Demands

This position works in an active industrial plastics recycling environment and requires regular time on the production floor. The successful candidate must be comfortable with:
