Job summary

Infra Pipe Solutions Ltd. in Huntsville, Ontario, seeks a Maintenance Technician – Millwright to maintain plant equipment and facilities, ensuring safe, optimal operation through proactive inspections and routine maintenance.

The successful candidate will rebuild and service production machinery, perform tool changes, and support LEAN initiatives while contributing to a strong safety culture and teamwork across the plant.

Qualifications

• Must have Millwright certificate or be enrolled as Millwright Apprentice.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills.
• Solid organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• ERP experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild and service production machinery and systems for reliable operation.
• Perform tooling and machine changeovers efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain, organize, and store tooling and equipment.
• Set up production lines, including installation of winders, extruders, saws, rollers, and related components.
• Conduct regular inspections and report tooling repairs or damage.
• Follow all company procedures and safety standards.
• Actively participate in Health & Safety training and promote a safe work environment.
• Contribute to LEAN and 5S initiatives.
• Support other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician – Millwright to join our Huntsville, Ontario team. This role is responsible for maintaining plant equipment and facilities in safe, optimal working condition through proactive inspections, monitoring, and routine maintenance.

SIGNING & RETENTION BONUS

Receive a $2,000 bonus:

• $1,000 after 6 months of continuous employment
• $1,000 after 12 months of continuous employment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Rebuild and service production machinery and systems to ensure reliable operation
• Perform tooling and machine changeovers efficiently and accurately
• Maintain, organize, and store tooling (1/2” – 63”) and equipment
• Set up production lines, including installation of winders, extruders, saws, rollers, and related components
• Conduct regular inspections and report tooling repairs or damage to the Maintenance Crew Leader
• Follow all company procedures and safety standards
• Actively participate in Health & Safety training and promote a safe work environment
• Contribute to LEAN and 5S initiatives
• Support other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

• Millwright Certificate or enrolled Millwright Apprentice
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, or a relevant combination of education and experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills
• Solid organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles
• ERP system experience is an asset
• Willingness to support other departments as needed
