Maintenance Technician Fabrication Welding

**Pay Range:** $40.00-45.00/hour

**Shift:** Rotational Shift
**Hours:**
- 1st shift - 6AM
- 2nd shift - 2PM
- 3rd shift - 10PM

This is a full-time position within our manufacturing facility with opportunities for advancement!

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; two-year specialized maintenance trade degree preferred, with 5+ years of related experience
• Knowledge of machine shop equipment, CNC programming, and welding experience preferred
• Advanced mechanical, electrical, and building skills
• Ability to read safety documents, instructions, and manuals
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment
• Ability to complete work orders and document work in a computer
• Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
• Professional communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 90 lbs

Responsibilities

• Ensure machinery operation through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Setup, teardown, repair, and fabrication of equipment
• Identify problems using observation and testing instruments
• Disassemble and replace defective parts
• Perform minor to major repairs, including welding to food-safe specifications
• Use advanced maintenance tools and techniques, including reading schematics and fabricating parts
• Minimize downtime by informing production and monitoring maintenance
• Document activities using SAP
• Maintain safety standards and participate in training
• Train lower-level maintenance staff
• Fabricate equipment components as needed
• Use PPE at all times, including bump caps, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, and safety shoes
